4. Royal Albert Memorial Museum
RAMM’s collection consists of over one million individual objects and specimens from all over the globe. Including a brilliant look at Exeter’s very own history. This FREE museum is well worth a visit.
5. The House That Moved
Take a walk to West Street, at the bottom of St Mary Steps, to find this fascinating timber-framed merchant’s house. Now housing a wedding dress shop, which must do well with all this WOM marketing. Given its name as it was physically picked up and moved when the government embarked on their plans to improve traffic flow and needed to demolish the homes on Frog Street.
6. The Ivy
We know The Ivy is popping up in almost every city, but this particular one is simply gorgeous and definitely worth a visit. Situated in the Cathedral Green, the outside world is emulated to perfection with palm leaf covered chairs and tropical plants galore.
7. Rougemont Gardens
Originally built as part of the defences of Exeter Castle, it’s now a stunning garden to take a stroll in after a big lunch.

8. The Bill Douglas Cinema Museum
Home to one of the largest collections of material relating to the moving image in Britain, this FREE museum is a marvellous resource for media students and film fanatics.
9. Harrys

10. The Turks Head
